PSE1350 Preset Torque Screwdriver

PSE Preset Torque Screwdriver

The PSE is a preset torque screwdriver (internally adjustable) that delivers precision torque control. Built with a cam-over design, the accurate torque screwdriver prevents a fastener or bolt from being under and over tightened. Featuring a soft textured grip, the torque driver is an ergonomically safe tool for the operator to use and is ESD compliant. Using a quality torque screwdriver ensures that proper torque is being applied and maintains requirements associated with ISO quality standards.

The user can set the desired torque level on the tool before use. When the screw is tightened and the preset torque level is reached, the clutch mechanism will slip, indicating to the user that the screw has been tightened to the desired level. This helps ensure that the screw is tightened to the proper torque level, which can be important in applications where the correct torque level is critical for proper function or safety.

Preset torque screwdrivers are commonly used in a variety of industries, including automotive, electronics, aerospace, and medical device manufacturing. They are also used in manufacturing, assembly and repair of industrial equipment, precision mechanics and similar applications that require accurate and consistent tightening torque. They can be set to a variety of units of torque measurement such as in/lbs, Nm, Kgf-cm and etc

It also come in various types such as manual torque screwdriver, battery torque screwdriver and electric torque screwdriver. Each of them have their own advantages and disadvantages, for instance manual torque screwdriver is cheaper and easy to maintain but electric or battery torque screwdriver offers more precision and consistency in comparison.
